Coty’s Director of Supply, R & D resigns

American Beauty Conglomerate Koti Co., Ltd. Its chief procurement officer and director of research and development, Richard Jones, announced on Friday that he would be stepping down.
Jones, who joined the New York-based cosmetics group in 2019, will remain at Coty until June 30. According to the company, his successor will be announced shortly. Temporarily, the current head of Coty will assume his responsibilities.
In fact, Koti intends to split Jones’ role into two positions and appoint expert leaders for supply chain and R&D respectively. This will allow the company to maximize its ambitions in the strategic category and leverage its own intellectual property.
Sue Y. Navi, CEO of Koti, said:
“In particular, Richard played an important role in organizing and sustaining our business throughout the pandemic. It has made Coty a more efficient and agile company, and resources are our strongest. That is, we are focused on creating and delivering innovative world-class beauty products to consumers all over the world. “
Jones came to Koti from Keurig and eventually served as a Supply Chain Director and a member of the Executive Committee. Prior to Keurig, he worked at L’Oréal for 18 years as a manufacturing and supply chain supporting all beauty categories.
“The last few years at Koti have been a great personal and professional experience,” Jones said.
“We are very proud of how the team is one of the most powerful teams ever, and everyone at Coty has responded to the challenges posed by the pandemic. More modern and focused. Coty’s progress in becoming a new business requires a new and innovative approach. This situation made us think differently and become more creative. ”
