Fënn Foods appoints new CEO

Fënn Foods, best known for its vEEF meat alternatives, has appointed a new chief executive, just weeks after securing investment from a top fund manager.
Tony Rowlinson, pictured on the left in the image above, will take over as CEO of the plant-based food production company. He previously worked at various international companies including Coca-Cola, SCA/Carter Holt Harvey and Simplot, where he worked with brands such as Leggo’s, Edgell, Lean Cuisine, I&J and Birdseye.
“The plant-based food market in Australia is in its infancy and, based on global trends, it will be a billion dollar market in the very near future,” the new CEO said.
“There are huge opportunities for growth in continued innovation and I am excited to leverage Fënn Foods’ culinary reputation to build the company into a leading player in this market.
“I look forward to continuing to deliver on the company’s promise to produce healthy, premium, plant-based foods that taste great and are good for you.”
Fënn Foods announced earlier in February that it had been invested by the Bombora Group, with the money going towards expanding product development and entering new markets.
