While some fans responded by teasing “bartender” or “stripper”, one person apparently got under the 51-year-old’s skin by replying “Pyramid Scheme” – in reference to the charges against LuLaRoe.
Meri hit back at the post, “Fun fact, a pyramid scheme is when you pay money and get nothing in return.
“But with LuLaRoe, you get something in return, and it’s called super cute clothes!”
Less than an hour later, Meri decided to address the response again, this time with a room full of employees behind her.

“So the real answer to what I do for my businesses – I sell LuLaRoe.”
She then explained what it means and what she does.
“It’s a lot of fun, and on weekends like this I can come and hang out with all my people.
“It’s awesome, and I love it, love it, love it.”
LULA-NO!
But not everyone shares Meri’s love of company.
Many people have expressed their dislike for the brand after a new Amazon docuseries, LuLaRich, gave fans a glimpse of the company and the people who work there.
In the document, a number of former sales reps have come forward to reveal that the company left them in financial ruin when they were unable to sell the goods they were forced to. to buy.
Over the years, Meri and her sister wife Christine Brown have given fans a peek into their closets by promoting LuLaRoe on Instagram.
The Sister Wives Stars – who were both married to Kody Brown – regularly model clothes from the company and promote them using hashtags.
SECRET OF SUCCESS
Although neither Meri nor Christine are mentioned in the doc, many Sister Wives fans now blame TV stars for the company’s success.
Taking to Reddit, one fan admitted he doesn’t “sympathize” with the TV personalities associated with the brand.
The Reddit user wrote, “It looks like they, especially Meri, are the biggest earners, which means they probably have big downlines…it’s a super exploit and they’re using just their notoriety to make people stay rich. They sure could have channeled all their fame into finding some kind of legit business instead.
“I was never a huge Meri fan to begin with, but watching this doc really soured on Christine.”

Another added: “They lie, plot and take advantage of others. They are horrible.
A third added: ‘Meri seems so desperate to belong and be someone and that’s how LLR sucked her in.’
