Since 2006, Newman has held several senior engineering positions at Thermo Fisher Scientific. His most recent positions include Senior Director of Engineering (Materials and Minerals) and Senior Director of Engineering (Bulk Material Handling and Process Analysis). Before joining Thermo Fisher, he was a mechanical engineer and project manager at F&S Fabricating. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
