Trademark Plastics Inc FimmTech Scientific Molding Processing Train at MDM West 2022

Trademark Plastics, Inc. (TPI) is an engineering-focused LEAN manufacturer of medical components specializing in custom injection molding. TPI has partnered with FimmTech Scientific Molding & Processing for the past four years. Founded in 2004 by Suhas Kulkarni, FimmTech specializes in training, both basic and advanced, for plastic injection molding. Using state-of-the-art machinery at either Engel or Arburg locations, FimmTech offers both in-person and virtual seminars. Suhas has also worked with industry experts to create Nautilus software, mold qualification software based on scientific molding and design of experiments (DOE).
Last year at MD&M West 2021, Suhas Kulkarni led a condensed seminar that captivated an audience with scientific approaches to injection molding and information about Nautilus software. Aiming to inform a similar audience to last year’s seminar, Suhas will introduce the topic of scientific processing and how its implementation leads to a fit-free and robust process. The presentation will cover the basics of scientific processing and scientific molding and demonstrate how data-driven decisions increase production efficiency by reducing scrap and cycle times with the least amount of human intervention. Suhas condensed his 4-day seminar into an overview of what to expect from the highly sought-after seminar offered by FimmTech.
Scheduled for April 12-14, 2022 in Anaheim, California, MD&M West 2022, hosted by Informa Markets, is an annual 3-day event focused on medical design and manufacturing. This event simultaneously hosts WestPack, ATX West, D&M West and Plastec West within the Anaheim Convention Center. As one of the world’s largest plastics trade shows, attended by top MedTech engineers and executives, MD&M West offers training, seminars, networking and covers multiple industries such as packaging, injection molding, machinery and even automation/robotics.
Partnering with FimmTech and using Nautilus DOE software has allowed TPI to train the most robust processes 100% of the time. Nautilus software also assists with quick troubleshooting processes, such as DOEs which can be completed in 3-4 hours as opposed to days or even weeks without this software. With proper input of machine and mold specifications, all the user needs is to fill in the new parameters in the process, and the outputs will be formulated. This allows the user to modify the process on a computer, without interfering with the process or production.
From Tuesday, April 12 through Thursday, April 14, you can find TPI at booth #2819. Be sure to drop by for Suhas’ FimmTech announcements and presentation on day two of the event, April 13.
